Karabakh death toll climbs above 300 as more bodies recovered

PanARMENIAN.Net - 105 more bodies have been recovered from different regions of Nagorno-Karabakh since September 21, the Interior Ministry said on September 25, raising the death toll from Azerbaijan’s latest aggression above 300.

Search operations for servicemen and civilians who died during military operations unleashed by Baku on September 19 continue.

The authorities of Karabakh had earlier confirmed the death of 200 people, including children, and the injury of over 400 others.

On September 19, Azerbaijan launched a military offensive against Nagorno-Karabakh, which left hundreds of Armenians killed and thousands of others displaced. On September 20, the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh agreed to a ceasefire on Azerbaijan’s terms, including the dissolution of the Defense Army. So 3000 displaced residents have already fled Nagorno-Karabakh and reached Armenia.
