Lethal cases from influenza А/H1N1 have decreased
Mexican authorities decreased number of those supposed to have fallen victims to influenza А - from previously reported 176 to 101 lethal cases. So far, 16 people were registered to have died of flu, the reason for deaths of 85 is not yet clarified. Mexican authorities believe it too early to speak about situation improvement. According to Mexico's Health Minister, epidemics usually register 3 phases. "This is why we'll have to wait for a couple of days to understand new influenza's development scenario," he said.

Because of influenza import threat China's airports were closed for arrivals from Mexico. The flu has already been registered in 16 countries: Austria, Great Britain, Germany, Hong Kong, Denmark, Israel, Spain, Canada, Costa Rika, Mexico, New Zealand, Netherlands, USA, France, Sweden and South Korea.
