Lavrov: Armenia-Russia relations put to the test

PanARMENIAN.Net - Allied ties between Russia and Armenia are put to the test as the West attempts to drive a wedge between the two countries, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at the conference “The role and place of public diplomacy in the development of relations between Russia and Armenia” on Friday, December 15.

“Today, the allied ties between Moscow and Yerevan are put to the test in light of the West’s attempts to drive a wedge into relations between our fraternal peoples,” Lavrov said.

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry also expressed his conviction that “as a result of discussions, practical recommendations will be developed and mutually useful contacts will be established.”
