Azerbaijan captured 17 Armenians after September aggressionJanuary 5, 2024 - 13:27 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 23 Armenian captives, including 17 persons captured after Azerbaijan’s September aggression in Nagorno-Karabakh, are still being held in Baku, head of the Investigative Committee Argishti Kyaramyan told the Public Television of Armenia on Thursday, January 5. Kyaramyan added that eight of these 17 individuals are former representatives of the military-political leadership of Nagorno-Karabakh, including three former presidents. According to him, the Investigative Committee also possesses evidence about the forced disappearance of 32 people as a result of the 44-day war in 2020. He said the information has been submitted to international structures. Regarding 22 of them there is a decision of the European Court of Human Rights on the application of interim measures, but Azerbaijan denies the fact of the disappearance of said people.
