Top Armenian, Indian defense officials discuss cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy Minister of Defence of Armenia Karen Brutyan, who is making a working visit to India from March 11-14, held meetings with top officials from the Indian Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

These included Joint Secretary (Defence Industries Cooperation), Department of Defence Production, Anurag Bajpai; Joint Secretary, International Cooperation, Vishwesh Negi; Foreign Affairs Secretary, Deputy Minister Pawan Kapoor; and the Military Advisor to the National Security Council, Sandeep Singh.

The discussions primarily focused on enhancing cooperation in the defence sector between Armenia and India

According to a report from the Indian Aerospace Defence News (IADN), India is establishing an air corridor to Armenia to handle exports of strategic importance.
