ARMENIAN PARTY PASSED PACKET OF DOCUMENTS ON ARMENIA'S ENTRY INTO WTO TO ITS MEMBER COUNTRIES

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy Minister of Trade and Economic Development Tigran Davtian stated it appearing at the International Forum on winemaking in Yerevan. In his words, Armenia's entrance into the World Trade Organization is already a question of a few months. At the same time, as reported by "Arminfo" agency, the question of state stimulation of agricultural development, which according to the WTO requirements should fit the international practice, is not solved yet. Substitution of tax concessions to rural farming by state subsidies is the point. As Tigran Davtian noted, the volume of subsidizing entirely compensates tax concessions made at present. But the transfer to the system of subsidizing will take tentatively from four to six years and now these terms are being specified.
