Moscow to celebrate First Armenian Republic Day

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Moscow Department of the Union of Armenians of Russia will organize a number of events dedicated to May 28. On May 31, the concert hall of ITAR-TASS news agency will host a concert to celebrate the revival of the Armenian statehood and the 91st anniversary of Armenian people's heroic victories in Sardarapat, Gharakilisa and Bashaparan battles, SAR press service reported to PanARMENIAN.Net



"The Priestess", a film by Vigen Chaldranyan, will be screened in Moscow Cinema House. It's a film about an Armenian woman whose life sharply changed against the background of great historical events. The film aims to introduce the history of Armenia as the world's first country to adopt Christianity as state religion in 301. The première is scheduled for January 25, in the Chinese Theatre of Los Angeles.
