Аrmenia to join NATO’s Agile Spirit 2025 as observer![]() July 15, 2025 - 14:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian military personnel will take part as observers in the multinational NATO exercise Agile Spirit 2025, according to Georgia’s Ministry of Defense. The exercises, scheduled from July 25 to August 6 in Georgia, are aimed at “enhancing combat readiness, improving cooperation among participant nations, and strengthening operational capabilities,” reports Sputnik Armenia. The program includes command-post exercises, a Georgian-American tactical convoy from Senaki to Vaziani, live-fire drills, joint operations by special forces, and an assessment of the combat readiness center of the Georgian Defense Forces. Military units from Georgia, the U.S., Turkey, Poland, Germany, Italy, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Lithuania, and Ukraine will participate. In addition to Armenia, Japan’s armed forces are also expected to attend as observers. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
