OSCE pledges support for Armenia–Azerbaijan peace![]() December 4, 2025 - 19:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) is prepared to support stable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, stated Pere Joan Pons Sampietro, President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, during the 32nd OSCE Ministerial Council session. “Efforts toward peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan continue. That’s good news. The OSCE is ready to support lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” he said. On August 8, a trilateral meeting was held at the White House between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. A joint declaration summarizing the meeting’s outcomes was signed. During the same event, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, in the presence of the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United States, initialed the agreement “On the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations Between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.” The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
