Azerbaijani FM says his visit to Armenia possible

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has stated that a visit to Armenia is possible if it aligns with Azerbaijan’s national interests. He made the remarks during a year-end press conference, APA reports.

At the same time, Bayramov said President Ilham Aliyev is not currently planning to visit Armenia.

“The European Political Community format is quite new. Invitations are extended to heads of state. This year’s summit will take place in Yerevan. As far as I know, a presidential visit is not planned, though the President’s Office will provide more precise information,” he said.

The European Political Community summit in Yerevan is scheduled for May 2026.
