Nienke Oomes: Armenia can see slight growth in 2010

PanARMENIAN.Net - The International Monetary Fund forecasts 3% inflation and 10% - 15% GDP index in Armenia, IMF Resident Representative in Armenia said.



Ms. Nienke Oomes said that the economic slump will slow down in the last quarter of the current year. "Armenia can see a slight growth in 2010," she said.



According to the national statistical service of Armenia, economic decay made 18,5% in the republic while inflation was fixed at 2.7%.



2009 Armenian state budget envisages 9,2% GDP index and 4% (±1,5%) inflation.
