Demonstrators inflicted pressure on participants of March 1 events' proceeding

PanARMENIAN.Net - In reply to Heritage Leader, MP Armen Martirosyan's question, Chairman of RA NA interim committee on March 1 events Samvel Nikoyan stated that rallies at the courthouses, where hearings were conducted, significantly affected verdicts.



"Demonstrators inflicted pressure on participants of March 1 events' proceeding. Witnesses heard abuse and threats if they gave evidence which the supporters of the accused did not like," Samvel Nikoyan noted, adding that the verdicts could have been different if it were not for the pressure.
