RA Armed Forces Officer awarded with Courage Medal for saving children from fire

PanARMENIAN.Net - RA Armed Forces Officer, captain Tigran Avetisyan was awarded with Courage Medal for saving children from fire.



RA Armed Forces Officer Tigran Avetisyan, commander of an artillery division battalion, stationed in Syunik region, saw a house on fire upon his return from service. The house, where 3 small children were left, belonged to Goris citizen Vahram Grigoryan. Failing to enter the house through the door, captain broke down the window and took two children out of a brining house. One of the children, handicapped from death, couldn't be saved. The house was burnt to ashes, RA Defense Ministry press service reported.
