BUILDING ARMENIAN CULTURE CENTER STARTED IN ALMATI

PanARMENIAN.Net - The ceremonial laying of the foundation of the building of the Armenian culture center was held in Kazakhstan former capital of Almati the other day. Armenian ambassador to Kazakhstan Eduard Khurshudian, Vice-Mayor of Almati Almat Murzin, construction sponsors, representatives of the Armenian community participated in the ceremony. «Arminfo» agency reports, creation of the culture center is first of all a result of the selfless activity of Chairman of the Almati Armenian community, professor of Almati Technological University, famous Kazakhstan wine-maker Rudik Mnatsakanian. He carried out a huge organization work unifying the most active representatives of the diaspora into an initiative working group. An important role was also played by the material aid sponsored by Kazakhstan Armenian entrepreneurs, among which is President of the Union of wine-makers of Kazakhstan Artush Karapetian, President of «Montazhspetsstroy» company Yevgeniy Babakhanov, businessman Norayr Arakelian. Mayor of Almati Viktor Khrapunov also contributes to the project realization.
