RA President gives positive assessment to Diaspora meeting resultsOctober 6, 2009 - 17:56 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - RA President's meeting with Armenian communities' representatives is a novelty in RA-Diaspora relations, Deputy Head of RA Presidential Staff Vigen Sargsyan said. According to him, RA President gives positive assessment to results of Diaspora meetings in Paris, New York and Los Angeles. "Meetings prove that in resolving serious issues, RA authorities will find support among Armenian nation representatives," Vigen Sargsyan stated.He also noted that despite Diaspora's concerns over RA-Turkish protocols, presidential pan-Armenian tour was important in normalizing ties. "These discussions are very important in taking the right decision," he emphasized. "We were most concerned over the meeting format," Sargsyan noted, adding that such meeting were a novelty and RA President sought to hear out every Diaspora representative's opinion, without leaving anybody out.
