Richard Giragosian: Turkish Parliament tries to delay Protocols' ratification till next yearOctober 12, 2009 - 16:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish Parliament will try to protract the process of Protocol ratification till the next year, Director of Armenian Center for National and International Studies, Richard Giragosian told a news conference in Yerevan. According to him, RA Parliament has to act the same way Turkish Parliament does. "If Turkey decides to make any demands or delay Protocols ratification, we have to do act the same way - play by their rules," Armenian expert believes. "He also noted that protocols do not stipulate for sanctions in case one of the parties violates agreement terms. "Should the border be opened, nothing will prevent Turkey from closing it again and making new demands," Richard Giragosian emphasized. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
