11 people in Armenia caught A/H1N1 virus

PanARMENIAN.Net - As of November 13, 11 A/H1N1 infected individuals are registered in Armenia. All incidences penetrated from abroad, mostly from Russia, RA Health Ministry's Web site reports.



7 virus carriers arrived from Russia, 2 - from Iran and 1 - from Turkey. One of patients is a contact person.



As reported by Health Ministry, 4 of patients are members of the same family. The husband was diagnosed on swine flu on his way back from Omsk. By that time, however, he had managed to infect his family members.



Armenia continues implementation of preventive measures, conducting monitoring among people arriving from foreign states.

Patients' test samples have been sent to London reference lab.
