AUSTRIA ATTACHES SOUTH-CAUCASIAN REGION SPECIAL STRATEGIC IMPORTANCE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Two intergovernmental documents were signed in Vienna in the course of the official visit of President of Armenia Robert Kocharian to Austria. They are the agreement on exclusion of double taxation for property and incomes and on the air communications. While having speech at the joint press conference on the results of the visit, President of Austria Thomas Kleystil said that South Caucasian region, the bridge for Europe to the Central Asia, was attached a special strategic importance. "The situation in the Caucasus directly effects European countries", noted he.
