Armenian handball players take 2nd place in Tbilisi Mayor's Cup

PanARMENIAN.Net - International junior Handball tournament "Mayor's Cup" completed in Tbilisi. The tournament was attended by the Armenian national team (under 18). In the final round the Armenian team was defeated by Tbilisi team with a score of 9:20, the latter became the winner of the tournament. According to the official site of Armenia's Handball Federation Armenian Youth Team (under 18 years) took the second place. The regional team of Georgia and Azerbaijan's national team took third and fourth places respectively.



The Armenian goalkeeper Gor Zhamharyan (Vanadzor) became the best goalkeeper of the tournament and in the nomination "the best point guard" the award was given to Arman Hambartsumyan (Yerevan).
