SCR holds scientific and technical meeting

The South Caucasian Railways has held a scientific and technical meeting on train operation security.



“2009 was not an easy year. We had to resist the crisis and GDP slump. Nevertheless, we managed to ensure proper traffic flow,” SCR director general Shevket Shaydullin said.



He also informed that the South Caucasian Railways management will launch trainings to improve employees professionalism in 2010.



SCR CJSC is a subsidiary of Russian Railways OJSC. Armenian Railways CJSC was transferred to South Caucasian Railway’s concessionary management under an agreement dated February 13, 2008. The agreement was signed for 30-year term, with possible extension of 10 years.
