Armenia's budget revenue grow by 21.8% in January-February PanARMENIAN.Net - Within January-February 2010 Armenia's state budget incomes surpassed 103.1 billion AMD, while the expenses reached 106.2 billion AMD, ensuring 68.3 and 57.5 per cent performance of the government program within the first quarter.



The budget, according to the annual program, performed by 14.3% for revenues, and by 12.6% for expenditure, general description of the state budget performance within January-February 2010 of the RA Ministry of Finance stated.  



Over January-February 2010 budget revenues increased by 21.8 per cent reaching 18.5 billion AMD, as compared with the same period of the last year. In particular, tax revenues and state duties grew by 19% (12.9 billion AMD). Over the same period payments of mandatory social insurance and other incomes increased by 28.1% (3.6 billion AMD) and 50.5% (2.1 billion AMD) respectively. 



Revenues of the state budget are mainly formed through taxes and state duties (78%), compulsory social insurance account for 5.9%, other incomes - 6.1%. 



Over January - February this year 80.5 billion AMD of taxes and state duties were collected by the state budget, ensuring the implementation of a quarterly program at 68.4%.
