RA Defense Ministry calls on Azerbaijani media to refrain from disseminating disinformation

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Defense Ministry refuted Azeri media reports on alleged violation of the ceasefire by Armenian armed forces at different parts of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

“Another portion of disinformation was disseminated by Azeri media on April 12,” the press office of the RA Defense Ministry reported. According to the statement, the untrue information sometimes comes to absurdity.

On April 8, 1new.az Azeri portal posted information that the RA armed forces allegedly centred fire at Azerbaijani positions from 10:30am-11:00am, 11:30am-12:30pm and from 09:40pm-09:55pm on April 8.

“The Armenian armed forces strictly comply with the ceasefire and take retaliatory actions to stop fire only. We call on Azeri media to refrain from disseminating misinformation and artificially worsening the situation at the contact line of the Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces,” the Ministry said.
