Armenia, China sign technical cooperation agreement

A technical cooperation agreement was signed between Armenian and Chinese governments on June 2.

The two governments have also signed a letter and message on behalf of the government of the Republic of Armenia, as well as a similar letter and message on behalf of the government of the People’s Republic of China. The documents were signed by Deputy Foreign Minister Karine Kazinian for the government of the Republic of Armenia and by Deputy Minister of Commerce Fu Ziying for the government of the People’s Republic of China.

Under the agreement, CY20mln free technical assistance will be rendered to the government of Armenia to be used for implementation of a technical and economic cooperation program.

It also stipulates that 88 ambulances will be donated to Armenia on the part of the Chinese government, the governmental information center reported.
