Elmar Mammadyarov: Azerbaijan ready to continue talks

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan is ready to continue talks on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, the country’s top diplomat said.

“We are hopeful that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs will bring Azerbaijan’s position to the notion of Armenian leadership. The sides took a pause after the last presidential meeting in Sochi, but this should not last long,” Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said.

As to revised Madrid Principles, he said, “Azerbaijan has examined them and found nothing new, with an exception of some points we offered to reconsider.”

“After discussions with the Armenian side, the MG Co-chairs will obviously make new proposals,” Mammadyarov said, APA reported.
