WB names Armenia’s Lifeline Roads Improvement project as best

PanARMENIAN.Net - The World Bank has named Lifeline Roads Improvement project implemented by the Armenian Ministry of Transport and Communication among 12 best projects of 2010, the Ministry’s press office reported.

“The program was developed to help Armenia overcome the crisis, with creating job opportunities and making social services more available,” Transport Minister Manuk Vardanyan said. He also informed that 150km out of 250km of the roads have been already repaired.

The second stage envisages repair of 190km of roads.
