RA President: Baku’s lies are outrageousJune 22, 2010 - 16:13 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Currently on a visit to Germany, RA President Serzh Sargsyan met with representatives of the country’s Armenian community and spiritual leader of German Armenians, Garegin Bekchyan. During the meeting, Serzh Sargsyan thanked German Armenians for their consistent aid to Armenia and NKR, international recognition of Armenian Genocide, as well as their contribution to preservation of Armenian identity. RA President replied audience’s questions on Karabakh conflict, Armenia-Turkey rapprochement and international recognition of Armenian Genocide. “Today, we’re facing Azeri society’s major flood of protest against Armenia. Representatives of Azeri media are researching the origin of European, Russian or U.S. politicians for signs of Armenian blood. Indications of anti-Armenian ideology are perceived everywhere. Vastly financed, Baku’s lies are outrageous. I urge Armenians worldwide to struggle against Azerbaijan’s inhuman propaganda,” Armenian President stated. A meeting with German political authorities and entrepreneurs, as well as a visit to Konrad Adenauer Foundation is on Serzh Sargsyan’s agenda, presidential press service reported.
