Armenian, Azerbaijani delegations to PACE meet in Strasbourg

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian and Azerbaijani delegations to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) met in Strasbourg on June 22, the Armenian side being represented by Davit Harutyunyan and Armen Rustamyan.

“Our major demand is that the sides should continue talks unless the key issues are resolved but, anyway, PACE can’t be effective in resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict,” Armen Rustamyan said. “We are against creation of any platform which can become a new stage for propaganda, thus complicating the situation even more. So, our proposal to proceed with consultations was adopted.”
