Armenia should continuously improve its approaches to foreign currency risks management

PanARMENIAN.Net - Co-founder of Ayb club and educational foundation Arthur Berd said that foreign currency risks management is an important problem in Armenia.

“It is a process, which has an impact on all peoples of Armenia – both on pensioners and businessmen,” Berd told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

Meanwhile, the specialist refrained from providing any recommendations with respect to foreign currency risks management and securing of the national currency fixed level. Berd noted that it is necessary to continuously improve the approached to foreign currency risks management in the Republic.

On June 23, Arthur Berd delivered a master class on Risky Business; How to Recognize, Measure and Manage Risk in Finance, Business and Life at the American University of Armenia.

Arthur Berd lives in Paris, he manages the macro-option strategies at Capital Fund Management, Inc. (CFM), a leading hedging fund in the world in the systematic investment strategies. In recent years, Arthur Berd held senior positions in such companies as BlueMountain Capital Management, Lehman Brothers and Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
