7th Golden Apricot International Film Festival to mark famous film figures’ jubileesJune 25, 2010 - 19:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Both competition and out-of-competition programs will be given special attention at Golden Apricot Festival, with out-of-competition program featuring retrospective shows and Yerevan premiers, festival programs director Mikhael Stamboltsyan stated. As festival organizers stated at June 25 news conference, among the works of a number of international filmmakers, the festival will premier Berlin Film Festival 2010 Winner, Semih Kaplanoglu’s Honey; Krzysztof Zanussi’s The Revisited; Karen Shakhnazarov’s Ward No. 6. Films by Henri Verneuil, Atom Egoyan, Sergei Parajanov will be featured within retrospective show framework to mark famous film figures’ jubilees. Also, master classes with world-famous filmmakers will be included in festival program.
