The Armenian State Revenue Committee collected taxes and duties at the total amount of AMD 285.2bln during the first half of 2010, exceeding the planned index by 30.7bln. In January-June 2010, the tax collection index was AMD 53bln and 4.7bln higher as compared with the same period of 2009 and 2008 respectively, the Committee’s press service reported.

The social payments totaled 54.7bln during the first half of 2010 that is 6.8bln and 5.8bln higher as compared with the same period of 2009 and 2008 respectively.
