RPA: Armenia can withdraw signature from Protocols if Turkey doesn’t alter its policy

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia initiated the process of normalization of relations with Turkey without preconditions and suspended it only when Ankara started laying down terms, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia said.

“If Turkey doesn’t alter its policy, Armenia can withdraw its signature from Protocols,” Mkrtich Minasyan said. “After the visit of U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to Armenia, the Turkish side seems to move towards normalization. For example, the governor of Kars declared support to opening of the border. However, I think it’s a mere imitation,” he said.
