Ucom and Toshiba to make new offer at Armenia’s marketAugust 5, 2010 - 15:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Ucom and Toshiba companies will start cooperating in Armenia, creating new opportunities and making advantageous offers for Armenian users. Director of Ucom company Hayk Yesayan said that those subscribers of the company, who use internet services, will have the opportunity to purchase Toshiba notebooks, making monthly payment at the amount of AMD 11,500 for 24 months. The new computers will be equipped with LED displays, Yesayan told a press conference. “Besides, we are going to provide our clients with the opportunity of purchasing desktop-computers, as well as HD TV sets,” noted Yesayan. For his part, Sales Manager of Ucom company Aram Barseghyan said that clients of the company will be able to execute purchase of a notebook in an office of Ucom within a day, while loan interest rates will be included in the transaction sum. Toshiba Europe company’s Manager General for CIS and Baltic States Igor Snitko said that earlier computer supplies to Armenia were of insignificant quantity and through various channels, what in its turn affected the quality of products. “Thus, Armenia’s consumers consider that only low-quality products are imported to the country. And they preferred to purchase high-quality computers outside Armenia. We want to improve international companies’ opinion about Armenia,” said Snitko.
