Total volume of Armenian banks’ credit investments gross AMD 797,9bln as of end of June

PanARMENIAN.Net - The total amount of credit investments of Armenia’s banks grossed AMD 797,9bln as of the end of June 2010, increasing by 2,3% (AMD 18 bln) compared with May. AMD 770,9 bln was provided to the country’s residents; AMD 27bln was extended to non-residents, according to the monthly bulletin of the Central Bank of Armenia.

AMD loans totalled 46,2%, while foreign currency loans amounted to 53,8%.

Majority of loans (AMD 164,7 bln) were provided to trade enterprises, followed by industry loans (AMD 152,1 bln), consumer loans (AMD 143,8 bln), mortgage loans - AMD 83.5bln and construction loans (AMD 58.8 bln).

Besides, agricultural loans to the amount of AMD 48,7 bln, consumer service loans (AMD 34,1 bln), transport and communication loans (AMD 22,2 bln) were provided.
