Mike Toner: U.S. enjoys a strong partnership with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - We view agreements between Armenia and Russia as a bilateral issue, a U.S. State Department spokesman said.

“I think we’d view it as a bilateral issue between Russia and Armenia. Obviously, the United States enjoys a strong partnership with Armenia. We have every expectation that this will continue,” Mike Toner said when commenting on the extension of deployment terms of the Russian military base in Armenia.

“And Russia is a member of – or part of the Minsk Group and so is playing a constructive role in that capacity,” Toner said.
