Henrik Mkhitaryan: transfer to Shakhtar is important step on way to great football

PanARMENIAN.Net - Midfielder of Armenia's national team Henrik Mkhitaryan, who recently signed a contract with Shakhtar Donetsk, told the football club official website that it is an important step for him in terms of improvement as a player on the way to a great football.

Shakhtar has gained the right to participate in the Champions League group stage this year. Mkhitaryan said that every player dreams to take part in matches of that level at least once in his career.

“But playing in this tournament is not only pleasant, but I think it is rather difficult too,” said Mkhitaryan, adding that he should still display good qualities during trainings to get a place in the starting line-up.
