As a result, Armenia will start searching for alternative ways of gas supply,” Mitk analytical center expert, Vahe Sargsyan noted. “In case of Azerbaijan’s purchasing the gas pipeline, Armenia must, first of all, activate Iranian direction for alternative gas supply. Should Azerbaijan, upon the purchase of gas pipeline, create problems for gas supply to Armenia, Armenian side must raise the issue of liberation of North Artsakh territories, through which Baku- Tbilisi- Jeikhan oil line and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas main are passing. In such case, the superpowers will not allow for Baku to prevent gas supplies to Armenia,” the expert noted, adding that Armenia should make active use of Javahk to gain access to sea.
