Robert Simmons: speaking of NATO peacekeepers deployment in Karabakh premature

PanARMENIAN.Net - OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs and parties to Nagorno Karabakh conflict can offer NATO to station peacekeeping forces in the conflict zone in case of necessity, NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia stated.

“As there is no agreement yet, speaking of deployment of NATO peacekeepers in Karabakh is premature,” Robert Simmons told journalists in Yerevan.

“NATO supports the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group for peaceful resolution of the conflict,” he said.
