Armen Martirosyan: Holy Cross liturgy is result of Armenia-Turkey Protocols

PanARMENIAN.Net - The liturgy at Holy Cross came as a result of ill-fated Armenia-Turkey Protocols, enabling Turkey to use it as a trump card in improving relations with the West, according to Heritage parliamentary group member Armen Martirosyan.

“Were it not for Protocols, Turkey would not have a chance to build its foreign policy at the expense of Armenia,” Martirosyan told a news conference.

Dwelling on recent Armenian National Congress rally, Martirosyan noted, “The speech of first Armenian president Levon Ter-Petrossian outlined no new positions or early election plans. Armenian politicians are presently concentrated on the 2012 parliamentary elections.”
