Historian and author Shakeh Minasian was named Person of the Year by the Canadian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

The celebration will take place on October 10 in Saint Hagop church in Montreal.

Being the heir of Armenian Genocide survivors, Shake Minasian has authored a number books on Armenian history.
