Abo Poghikian: U.S. government cannot ascribe the incident with American-Armenian gang arrested for healthcare fraud to local Armenian community

PanARMENIAN.Net - The American-Armenian gang arrested for healthcare fraud greatly impaired the image if Armenians, known abroad as hardworking, sincere and smart people. The U.S. Armenian community took a highly negative attitude towards the actions of their compatriots, the editor-in-chief of Asbarez Daily Newspaper (Los Angeles), Abo Poghikian stated.

“However it’s wrong to ascribe the negative qualities of a group of people to the whole community,” Poghikian told PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

“U.S. government’s possible attempt to toughen its position towards the U.S. Armenian Diaspora might end in legal proceedings,” Poghikian noting, expressing doubts over the probability mentioned.
