Armenian refugee from Azerbaijan demands return of his apartment in Baku

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan addressed a message to his Azeri counterpart Elmira Suleymanova, requesting her cooperation in the return of the apartment to an Armenian refugee.

“Yerevan citizen Andrey Tsaturyan and his 4-member family left Baku in 1988, leaving behind a 3-room apartment, as well as his property insured for 10.000 roubles. Apartment authorisation, insurance certificate, as well as refugee reference issued by central registration bureau is attached to Tsaturyan’s application. Tsaturyan requests Azeri Ombudsman’s cooperation in the return of the apartment or provision of relevant compensation,” Armenian Ombudsman said in his letter.
