$800 MILLIONS IS OFFERED FOR THE ARMENIA NUCLEAR POWER PLANT CLOSING

PanARMENIAN.Net - . The European Union promises Armenia $800 millions for the nuclear plant closing. Suren Azatyan, the director of the atomic power plant has informed that. According to his words, to agree on the offered terms is impermissible. Azatyan claims that the closing of the nuclear power plant is more dangerous than its exploitation. Since the day, in 1995 it was started again till these days there has not been any emergency conditions. Also it should be taken into consideration, that the nuclear power station has stabilizing role in the energy sphere. Providing more than half of the Armenia needs, due to the enough low price of the produced electric power, the plant enables to control the tariffs that are acceptable for consumers.
