Dumas strips Yegiazarian of immunity as Deputy

PanARMENIAN.Net - On November3, the State Duma stripped Ashot Yegiazarian, a Liberal Democrat suspected of large-scale fraud, of his immunity as Duma deputy, complying with a request from Prosecutor General Yury Chaika.

The decision was passed by 352 votes against 39 with five abstentions. The minimal majority needed was 226 votes, Interfax reported.
