Visa- free travel Eastern Partnership countries possible in case of meeting European safety requirements![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - Visa- free travel for Eastern Partnership countries is possible only on condition of the efficient application of the European security standards in these countries, European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Fule said. Making a keynote speech at the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum in Berlin Stefan Fule said they believe obstacles will be gradually eliminated to provide free travel in Europe. “But for this to happen our partners should meet European safety requirements,” he said, APA reported. 230 public organizations have been chosen from the European member countries and the Eastern Partnership countries out of almost 600 applicants to participate in Civil Society Forum. The forum's common aim is development of contacts among civil society organizations and promotion of their dialogue with power authorities in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. Participants in the event will discuss the political and economic situation in those countries, problems in social spheres, the state of affairs with implementation of energy saving technologies, freedom of speech. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
