Armenian, Syrian parliament speakers to sign a memorandum of understanding

PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 22, Armenian parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamyan is leaving for a 3-day visit to Syria.

Meetings with the President of Syria Bashar al-Assad, parliament speaker Mahmoud al-Abrash, Prime Minister Naji Outtary in Damascus are on Abrahamyan’s agenda.

Signing of memorandum of understanding between Armenian and Syrian parliament speakers is planned.

The Armenian delegation has also scheduled a meeting with Der-Zor officials, as well as a visit to an Armenian church and Genocide victims memorial.
