CSTO to create common mechanism for reaction in emergency situations![]() December 2, 2010 - 12:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On December 1, Moscow hosted a session of the CSTO Emergency Coordination Council (CECC) led by Russian Minister of Emergency Situations Sergei Shoigu. Armenian Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan also participated in the session. Creation of a common mechanism for reaction in emergency situations was discussed, with action plan endorsed and submitted for confirmation at December 10 CSTO meeting. The plan will become the main policy document for the next 2 years. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit.
