Vahram Nersesyants: we should be ready to withstand possible new waves of crisis

PanARMENIAN.Net - Newly appointed Executive Director of All-Armenian Bank Vahram Nersesyants said that the economic crisis in Armenia is a result of the global one, due to which its overcoming will depend on international trends.

“In my opinion, problems of the global crisis have not been solves, specifically in Europe, as many countries still face serious problems,” Nersesyants told a briefing on December 9.

He thinks that the decisions adopted to save many countries from a default were not sufficient, specifically, this refers to Greece, where the external debt makes 150% against the GDP.

“Now we should be ready to withstand possible new waves of the crisis,” said Nersesyants.

According to him, the Armenian Prime Minister’s economic group has succeeded in this direction and will manage to solve these problems to the best advantage.
