Azerbaijan takes best efforts to complicate relations with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - At December 10 Moscow-hosted summit, CIS leaders signed an Agreement on Interstate Search envisaging a number of joint measures to promote effective search of crime fugitives.

The document, however, contains specific reservations.

In particular, the agreement signed by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, stipulates that provisions in the document will not be applied to Armenia until the latter cedes the so-called “occupied territories.”

Expressing his position on the issue, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Elkhan Polukhov stated that in future, “Azerbaijan intends to include preconditions in all international agreements involving Armenia,” 1news.az reported.
