Aram Sargsyan: the exact territory of the Artsakh to be recognized independent has not been specified

PanARMENIAN.Net - December 1-2 OSCE summit in Astana proved preservation of status quo in Karabakh conflict settlement impossible at the moment, the leader of Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA) Aram Sargsyan stated.

As Sargsyan told a news conference in Yerevan, recent statements by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan suggest his conceptual attitude to the issue, which, however, is not enough.

Dwelling on recognition of NKR independence, DPA leader noted, “Armenia is yet to specify its position on the issue, giving clear reply whether NKR should be announced as an independent republic or be annexed to Armenia.” “The exact territory of the Artsakh to be recognized independent has not been specified either,” he concluded.
