Levon Zurabyan: RA authorities understand that they face collapse

PanARMENIAN.Net - Coordinator of the Armenian National Congress Levon Zurabyan said that the Armenian authorities understand they are faced with a collapse.

Referring to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s statement during the 20th anniversary sitting of the Republican Party of Armenia, Zurabyan said that the President’s statement and the fact that he referred to bribery and corruption in it were rather interesting.

“It is noteworthy that Serzh Sargsyan has conceived that such problems exist by the end of the third year of his presidency,” said Zurabyan.

According to him, the RA authorities grasp the inevitability of their failure and take desperate actions to improve the current situation.

According to the ANC Coordinator, the latest speech by the Armenian President resembles a statement of an opposition representative rather than the country’s leader.

Responding to a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter’s question as to what progress was recorded in the Karabakh conflict settlement in 2010, Zurabyan said that the ANC made a statement after the OSCE summit in Astana. However, he noted that the President has fixed Armenia’s losing policy as part of the OSCE summit, as well as opened doors for other losses.

Commenting on expectations with respect to the Karabakh conflict settlement in 2011, Zurabyan said that they expect new failures of the Armenian side.

Assessing the ANC activity in 2010, Zurabyan said that though there were not extraordinary political events in the country, they managed to put up active struggle for human rights.
